PRIVACY NOTICE


At TIC Federal Credit Union, your privacy is a top priority. This notice describes how we protect the privacy of your nonpublic personal information and gives you an opportunity to let us know if you do not want certain information about you disclosed to other parties. Throughout this notice, the word “information” refers to nonpublic personal information about you that may not be publicly available.

Information That We Collect and Disclose to others
We collect information about you from the following sources:

  • Applications and other forms you submit to us.
  • Information about your transactions with others.
  • Information about your transactions with us.
  • Information about your credit history from consumer reporting agencies.

We may disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above.

Parties to Whom We Disclose the Information
We may disclose all information we collect as described above to the following types of third parties:

  • Financial service providers, such as those that provide mortgage, credit and debit cards, and insurance services.
  • To companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
  • To consumer reporting agencies, such as those that report your creditworthiness and credit history.
  • Information about you under other circumstances, as permitted or required by law.

If you decide to terminate your membership with TIC Federal Credit Union or become an inactive member, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as may be permitted or required law.

How to Opt Out of Certain Disclosures of Information About You
If you prefer that we not disclose information about you to parties that are not affiliated with TIC Federal Credit Union, you may “opt out” of those disclosures. That is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). If you wish to “opt out” of disclosures to parties that are not affiliated with TIC Federal Credit Union, please fill out and mail the “Opt Out” form. Only one “opt out” notice will be provided for joint accounts and an opt out by either will apply to the entire account.

How We Protect Your Information
We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your information.
